My Fitbit charge 3 won't sync with my cellphone. The time on the cellphone is different than what's on the Fitbit. How can I fix it??

With my Charge 3, the only way that i can get it to start syncing again, having tried everything the chat staff have suggested and gone through with me, is to do a 'Clear User Data' reset of the Charge 3. This is a joke, as you then lose the 7 days of data collected on the device!! That complete reset does work though, (for 4 x syncs before it stopped again, and then 3 syncs so far today) That's all after trying deleting and reinstalling the app that was already the latest version (don't forget to restart your phone/device after this), using 'reboot device' to restart the charge 3, forgetting device from bluetooth list and then connecting again (it couldn't find the fitbit until the 'clear user data' reset had been done. What a nightmare. Wish I'd bought a Garmin 😞

I bought mine November 2019. It's not even a year and a half. I'll have to call support. It's very frustrating. I've looked at Garmin. They have a couple of options. If they have a downloadable data feature, I'll go that route. I don't want to depend solely on syncing.
