I've have 2 daily alarms set on the Charge 4 and there have been multiple occasions that the alarms do not go off. Also, when I select the alarm app on the Charge 4, it freezes and restarts. My FitBit Android app is updated and I have restarted the Charge 4 multiple times. Please fix this!

It seems that the Charge 4 release should have been delayed until bugs were fixed. Alarms are necessary for those that need medication reminders. I will be going back to the Charge 3 or switching back to Garmin. I really wanted to love the Charge update, but there are too many issues. Please get the bugs fixed, you are losing customers.

I have just switched to Charge 4 from the 3 and find that the settings are too sensitive. In just a few days the alarm has turned off because when I swipe to do other things, such as set Walk or Hike I inadvertently change other settings and end up not waking at the time I want. In addition the notification buzz for the alarm is far too low, even on the high setting, it wouldn't wake a gnat. When the alarm does actually work it is too quiet and I also miss on my 10 minute reminder to get up each hour as I do not feel the vibration. Could you make it more noticeable

I have 3 daily alarms set - reminders for medication. I have had to go back to using my phone alarms as the Charge 4 alarms only work occasionally, if at all. This is an important use of the Charge 4 for me - please can something be done!

Hi, I also have daily alarm on my Charge 4 and it works randomly, this is not acceptable in a device of this price and alleged quality. I upgraded from a Charge 2 and I love the new features, but you guys really need to polish the firmware ASAP.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Yes, I did try to restart it and it seems to help at first, but it doesn't take long for the alarm to fail again. This very morning the alarm worked correctly the first time, but not the snooze function after 9 minutes, and it's not the first time that happens: I restart the device, the alarms seems to work fine again, but after a few days (at best) it fails again.
I seem to recall that the problem started after the latest firmware upgrade, when the "intelligent alarm" function was introduced.
I'm sure you people are looking into it, but it would be great to have a firmware upgrade fixing this ASAP, until this is. fixed the alarm function is all but useless, I have to set my phone alarm a few minutes later in case the Fitbit fails.
Thank you.

I have exactly the same problem that you described in both posts, never used the snooze though. So, when I set up the alarm it works for a day or 2, then it stops. After I delete it and add it again it works again for a day and then stops. Rinse and repeat. Issue started about 2 or 3 weeks after the smart alarm update, about when the gps stopped working. The gps at least is now fixed so finger crossed!

Hi, just wanted to add that I am having the same issue. I have two alarms set in the morning, one for medication and one for getting up - and it seems to be very random if they work or not.
I have Smart Wake turned on.
I hope this can be fixed because the silent alarms have been so useful up until now.

I’m having the same issue as well. I have multiple alarms set on my Charge 4 and they are no longer working. I have tried restarting and syncing multiple times with no luck. It started a few weeks after the last update. Please fix ASAP!

Having the same issue. My alarm works fine for days or a week and then one morning it just doesn't go off. I have to set an alarm on my phone for a few minutes after my Fitbit just to make sure I don't oversleep.
This is getting frustrating as this is my second charge 4, the first one was recording three times more steps than I was actually taking and saying I climbed 20 flights of stairs a day even on days I never left my single story house or went into the basement.

I just received my Charger 4 and I can not even set an alarm. Previously I have used a Charger 2 for almost 4 years and never had a problem with the alarms or the vibration. I am a software engineer and I don’t understand how this item was released with this number of bugs. Alas my charger 2 died or I would go back to it. I loved the silent alarm because it does not wake the hold house. Please get this device working correctly, how can a the charge 4 be released with a broken feature that had been working in earlier Fitbit devices for years.
