Charge 4 - Alta Update?

I have a charge 4. I am getting a notification on my charge 4 that there is an update for Alta and wants me to update my tracker. Why?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @mpbird. Thank you for letting us know that you get an Alta update notification on your Charge 4. 

If you're no longer using the Alta, please remove it from the Fitbit app in order to avoid those notifications. If you're still planning on continue wearing your Fitbit Alta, you can update it to stop receiving the notification. Is the notification appearing on your Charge 4 or on the Fitbit app?
