Charge 4 blank screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

1st time round I had a basic inspire fitbit, that stopped working after 2 years and the screen went black, no clock no nothing, but was 100% battery.  So I upgraded to a charge 4, this has now done the same thing, just over 2 years and the display has stopped working, it has 100%battery but no display. Do I really need to replace my fitbit every 2 years...this is ridiculous. In todays society we are suppose to be able to have things that last,  I'd be better off buying a cheap crappy version from Temu..... I am not happy at all. Its definitely put me off investing anymore money into the company !

Welcome to the forums @Leese20003.

Thank you for taking the time to share the experience that you are having with Fitbit. Sorry to know the difficulties that you are dealing with the devices. This is not the experience that we desire for our users.

If your display is not working, please make sure of following these steps:

  1. Sync your tracker with the Fitbit app. If in any case you have difficulties to sync, please see this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
  2. Restart your device as suggested below:
  • Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  • Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  • Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  • Press and hold the button to restart your tracker: press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

In addition, try to change the clock face of the device as indicated here: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Hi
I've tried all those things, my phone app says it's 100% battery life, I've
changed the face of the watch on the app, I feel it vibrate but STILL just
a blank screen.
