Charge 4 recently doesn't sync

Hi,

Recently my charge 4 does not sync up to my phone.

I've not made any changes of hardware of either my Galaxy fold 4 or my charge 4.

There was a system update of the fold 4 but the charge 4 was able to sync for a few days.

I have done the following :

1) Reboot my charge 4.

2) reinstall fitbit app.

3) restart my phone(fold 4)

Even after the above it still doesn't sync. Tracker is still measuring steps and HR just not able to sync.

Any advise please?

Thanks.

Today I saw this post in another thread. Looks like it will be awhile.

I have this issue with my Charge 4, and Pixel 5 phone.

Stopped syncing at Dec 21, I removed it from paired devices, when trying to add it asks for 4 numbers, I enter these numbers, and tracker screen only shows logo with text that asks for "update" of Fitbit application. Application is up-do-date, so definitely something else is wrong.

Yes, I tried force stop, restart device and phone, etc, etc, etc. Does not help

Mine wouldn't sync yo my Galaxy Z Flip either. Customer service was of NO help. I trashed my Charge 4 and got a Garmin Vivoactive foe less than $200. Was definitely a good switch. Fitbit lost me as a customer

Pulled the same move:  Charge 4 is headed to Ebay and Vivosmart 5 is now on the wrist.

Do you have the Pulse Oximeter thing on?  I had mine on constantly, but that red light kept driving me nuts, and it seemed to drain the battery quickly.  Switched it off and also set the brightness at 2, and the battery seems to be doing better.  Not sure I'm going to use half of the features of this watch, but it's a nice replacement for the Fitbit Charge 4.

I switched to the Garmin Vivoactive and am really pleased. It's definitely an upgrade!

I did not turn.my.Pulse Ox on. A notification popped up saying it would drain the battery quicker so I opted to.leave it off.

Just thought I'd provide an update. My fold 4 has finally been able to connect to my Charge 4.

I had installed a samsung update a couple of days ago. Strangely it was only today that they were connected.

Previously I used an older phone to connect (I was lucky to still have that phone).

Fitbit still on thin ice. Another such incident and I will bail.

Thank you. Same issue here. In a chat with fitbit I suddenly couldn't reply to even address it.

This is EXACTLY the issue I'm having right now.

I have installed the app, cleared the cache, cleared my data, disconnected Bluetooth, forced stop the app etc etc.

Thought by unpairing from Bluetooth and the app that I could reconnect, no, cannot even get my Bluetooth to recognise it.

And yes, I just noticed now the time is out. So it is a completely useless piece of junk right now. I am very frustrated! I am hoping you get answered because then I can get an answer too 😅

I am having the exact same issues and I spent several hours today trying to fix it and nothing!!

Infuriating.

I searched through so many of these threads and followed all the steps including restarting my phone, and unpairing from Bluetooth, uninstalling the app, even tried to hook the charge 4 up through the website on my laptop- which you can't do.

I am hoping you get answered soon and then we all can. This is unacceptable from Fitbit!

I hope it's resolved asap 😊

What mobile phone are you using?

The current issues are around the Galaxy Fold and Flip model which in my experience needed an updated software update from Samsung. That did the trick but it was ~1month worth of no connection.

Hi. I have a Samsung j7. If I get it to sync, which only happens on
occasion, it doesn't even stay synced for 24 hours. It's very frustrating.
I have decided it is something Fitbit needs to fix. There's nothing a user
can do to fix it because it has all been tried and failed.

I have a Samsung galaxy A90. The app is fully up to date according to Google Play store. And this only happened in the last month when there was a software update. So I am thinking it's maybe affected more models? Sorry I forgot to add my phone type in my original message. Do I need to be on a different thread?

Thanks

I have an iPhone 12 and this just started today. My Fitbit is stuck on 1/9.
