My Fitbit Charge 4 registers sleep data fine in the app, but doesn't register anything on the 2 tiles dedicated to it on my fitbit.
I sync the device every day, and have reset everything a couple of times, but the tiles still say no score and no data, despite the app registering it all.

My Charge 4 won't show any sleep data. It worked the first two nights, and then it thought I was sleeping whilst on the sofa watching TV....then it has not recorded my sleep again??? Steps and the rest ok, just not sleep data, which is what I got it for!
Anyone have a solution to this as I've tried everything!!

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums @Mee0003 @Iamsam21c.
Thank you for sharing that you've been having trouble with your Charge 4 device.
Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried the restart procedure described here?
Sync your device and check the sleep information again:
Please keep me posted.

the reboot option has not worked for me. The app has always displayed sleep data. My tracker did initially display the data on the tiles. Any more suggestions. Is the tracker faulty?

Thank you for your reply and for confirming that you already tried the steps suggested earlier @3MMMs.
I was able to confirm that there are several users who have been experiencing this inconvenience with the display not showing your Sleep data and Sleep score; the team of developers is already aware of this and they're working to find a solution as soon as possible, but unfortunately it's not possible to provide a specific period of time.
Let me know if you have further questions.

Hi Davide
I got my FitBit Charge 4 for Christmas (2020) and it's never shown sleep data on it, despite it appearing on my app and online account. My daughter also received one on the same day and she has the same issue. I've been following these threads, which go back to May 2020 and all the FitBit reps are saying it's a known problem that's being worked on. That's been more than six months now and still there is no resolution. We've done everything you and your team has suggested but it's not working. Disappointed that both my daughter and I have this issue and that you've delivered no updates other than to say it's being worked on with no firm timeline. That's rubbish. Maybe now Google has bought into FitBit we might get better service 😞

I'd be very surprised if your comment is allowed to remain. I made a comment in a similar tone that was deleted by the moderator, it seems that this is a touchy subject. I am quite new to Fitbit too and my overriding impression is that the software / firmware implementation is poor, the user instructions on basic use such as firmware updating on new shop bought devices is completely undocumented that causes a lot of unnecessary questions on the forums, and the feedback on genuine problems is underwhelming.

This is an issue for me too. I have recently purchased a Charge 4.
The sleep info is visible in the app but not on the actual device.I have checked for updates etc
Is this glitch going to be fixed anytime soon?

I don't work for Fitbit so can't speak for them. But I do know they've known about this issue for years (they reference it in this blog) and it's not been fixed, so I'd take that as a sign that it ain't gonna get fixed any time soon.

One thinig I've discovered that works is:
Open the fitbit app (I use one on my laptop)
Let it sync.
Close it.
Reopen it again and look around at different stats for a few minutes, including sleep.
Usually, this makes the information show up on the Fitbit.
For instance, today I can see that for the first time ever, I got a sleep score of 80 after using this method.

First point is, this "fix" does not work for me.
Second point is ....why should it be necessary. The software on these devices is junk, and Fitbit have made it perfectly clear that they will never fix it.
Personally I have given up on this device, will be shifting to another brand shortly.

I had my sleep settings set to sensitive. When I changed it to normal, it began to show the data again.
