Mine was doing the same things--Time wrong, no sync, error message in app, re-booted randomly with v102 popping up.
I chatted through the support window and the customer service rep was great. Took my info and immediately arranged for a replacement to be sent to me. I hope the issue is fixed with the new device. I guess we'll see! Just wanted to give props to Reynaldo in their Cust Service department!

My new HR arrived today! However, in a very annoying turn of events, my OLD one suddenly started working yesterday after weeks of nothing but trouble. ! All the icons are back on the dashboard, it's synching like a champ, and the time is correct... so now what? Anyone else's "magically" fixed?

I was able to fix mine myself. After 3 hours. I did everything they listed to do. I checked to see if the dongle was recognized and it was. I reset my fitbit, and reinstalled the apps, tried setting it up as a different device but then it couldn't find it to add because the blue tooth error. Took me getting to my last rope and removing the dongle completely out of my comp. Syncing with my tablet worked first then I was able to turn off my bluetooth on my tablet (which wasn't helping prior to pulling dongle) and reinstalled dongle and was able to sync with comp. However I do want to note my fitbit was totally dead before charging. Honestly I just figure that maybe during charging having both my tablet and comp in the same room might be causing conflicts with the blue tooth. It only happens after charging so far where the time and date go all screwy and it won't sync. I've had my fitbit since Feb 2015 and I never had a problem with it until recently so it isn't the device in my case.

Try moving all bluethooth devices to another room and then re-try syncing...it worked for me

Check everything...tablets,watches,ipods,sonos,phones...anything that can be bluetoothed

Also found that you have to go to the fitbit icon on the lower right corner of windows seven computers...right finger clic on the fitbit icon and then click sync now...using the app still is not working but this fix is how I can get it to sync everytime.

Thanks. I've been trying some of the options listed here, but it's a real time suck and frustrating to have to keep tap dancing like this. I'm a bit miffed that a product I paid $149 is not reliable.

I have the exact same problem with syncing, which has been going on for about a week. And the last couple of days a full battery charge amounts to about 12 hours of use.
This is pretty sad.

For no apparent reason mine came back to normal a day ago - started syncing with both Iphone and USB, time is correct. Do not know what to say....

"Tap-dancing" gave me a chuckle and was a very apt description of the whole useless process. 🙂 Is yours working now? I hope so!

Coeditor, did you try to keep only one device nearby with bluetooth on? They may interfere. Good luck
