Counting hours variation from day to day - Versa 2

So...I aim for 10 hours/day. 

My norm is from 10-7....10.11.12.1.2.3.4.5.6.7

Yesterday I woke up late and it was Sunday so I switched to 12-9. And I hit it, the green dots lit up, Woo Hoo. 

This morning I switched back to 10-7 and for the first time did a look back to yesterday. It now says 8 our of 10. Since it was just yesterday, I know that I hit it, if I tried to go back a few weeks ago, I wouldn't know if the fitbit was correct or not. 

It's a first world problem, but just curious why I can't switch it to different hours every day.

Let me help you with your hourly steps reminders aren't properly showing on your account. Try removing the reminders to move, save and sync and then set them up again. You can also try restarting your tracker before trying these suggestions.

So. Let's say I have a full week where every day I do a different number of active hours and a different start and end time for those active hours. 

So, rather than just changing the time and having Fitbit keep it for that day and until I change it and when I change it, go along with me. I have to spend 5 or 10 minutes a day with semi-complicated instructions to make this happen?

And to even see if it works, I will spend the next 3-5 days trying all, one trial at a time,  that hoping, not even knowing that it would work?

Maybe you could add, should I do it at night before I go to bed so it will start up in the newest mode the next morning, or maybe do it in the morning when I am rushing to get out of the house (well, I used to do that, I am now retired..but, everyone else)?

I'll give it a go over the next few days.
