Dead Fitbit Charge 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So, I awoke yesterday morning to a dead Fitbit. The screen was black and the green light no longer on at all. I had *just* charged it the day before so I know it wasn't dead. I checked the forums here today for a solution and tried resetting it but it doesn't do anything - the screen remains black and no green light turns on nor does it vibrate at all. I've had it about a year and a half. What else can I do? Please help!

@mightyanteater Welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community!

Let me help you with your unresponsive Charge 2. It could be that the battery got drained quickly and now it is discharged. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes.
