@Tasha19 Thanks for stopping by! I want to clarify that @SunsetRunner's instructions work for messages received in the community. If you are referring to messages received from friends where you also see the taunts and cheering s then I would like to clarify that they will disappear after 30 days but you can't delete them manually.
If you still need help then please provide a screenshot of the messages you are talking about.
Let me know how it goes!

Ahhh, yes, those can be deleted. It must be done from the dashboard, where you read the messages. Here are the steps:
1.) Select the message or messages you wish to delete. See the yellow circle.
2.) Tap the three verticals dots at the top, right of the screen. See the purple circle.
3.) Tap Delete. See the red arrow.
I hope this helps. @Tasha19. Happy stepping!

@Jenmckie It's nice to have you on board! As @Rich_Laue pointed out in my previous post I said you can't delete messages but this shouldn't be happening. Try logging out from the app, restart your phone and then log back in. This should help update your data.

@Jenmckie Thank you for getting back and let me know that this worked for you. This can definitely help other members in the same situation so thank you for your reply.
I'll be around!

The solution to old messages in the notification said that the messages (and taunts and cheers) would be removed after 30 days. I have messages on my charge HR that are over 100 days old....none have been deleted. How can I make sure they get deleted?
I saw the message about logging out of the app to update and remove old taunts, etc.....what if I don't know how to get back into my app? I'm afraid to log out for fear of not being able to get back in.

@exerciseteach It's great to have you here! To log in you just need to know the email address and password used to create your account so when logging into the app you just enter this information. Please try my suggestion and follow these instructions to log back into your app.

@Deztopstylist Thanks for joining us! Do you have messages older than 30 days? Which phone do you have? What exactly did you try on it? Could you share a screenshot? Did you follow the instructions on my previous post?
Note that messages will be deleted automatically after 30 days but can't be deleted before that.
I look forward to your reply.
