I have just had to return my Charge 3 after only buying it on 3/11/18.
Display stopped working for no apparent reason. Store Tech said he had never seen it happen before. So replaced it. So not impressed.

Best AnswerThanks for the info needed to get my display working again but I am concerned as to what is causing it. This smartwatch has so much potential if it could just get by all the problems it has.
I have had my Charge 3 for 2 months & the display has stopped working. I have tried the restart & get nothing on the screen.
I get 2 vibrations about 3 seconds into the 8 seconds, but no smiley face or anything. It still tracks everything, I just can't see it until I sync.
Now what?
Best AnswerHello! Mine did the same. Just wouldnt work. It was vibrating, countjng steps and all else. I attempted to change the clock face in the fitbit and when I chose a new one the screen started working again. Maybe some kind fo glitch? I don't know.

Thank you so much for this suggestion. The display on mine would not turn on just now, even though it was clearly working. I changed the clock face, and voila, it's working again!
My display stopped working last night as well after only having my FB for about a month but did the reboot and it worked. Must say I was surprised it did that already as it’s so new. I’ve noticed too that it doesn’t send my notifications to me now and isn’t showing my days of activity on my FB display but does on the app. I do love it though and so happy I got it....just hope it lasts a long time!
Best AnswerMy Charge 3's display went off in between, I read your reply and the band has restarted itself. What was the problem that had occurred? If it's some software issue kindly fix it . Also Fitbit needs to update it's food stats page as it doesn't take into account a lot of food items and the MyFitnessPal from Under armour does a much better job at tracking your food calories and the food items that have been consumed.
Had the same issue. Wasn’t happy but researched first. This procedure solved the failed display issue. If it happens again then maybe a return under warranty.
