Editing the Weekly Stats

My Charge 3 didn't sync over the weekend and I was unaware of this. My weekly report showed no steps for those 2 days. The Help Support stated that editing the weekly report is not an option. When you are in a friendly competition, these missing steps become important and the user should be able to edit the weekly report to add these steps. I know this would open the report up to abuse, but for those honest, ethical users it would be very useful.

Within the Fitbit app, you can manually add an exercise like Walk and backdate the date to the appropriate day. Along with date and duration of the walk, you can enter the number of miles. Each mile adds ~2k steps to your daily total depending upon your height/stride length. So, the functionality you're looking for is essentially already there. While this updates the app, I can't speak as to whether it updates the weekly report as my guess would be that report is a static snapshot.
