Everything but heart rate history syncing?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Charge HR since early december and it has worked fine up until today. Everything appears to be syncing except the heart rate history/graph.  Current heart rate shows up fine on the fitbit itself and on the app, but it has not recorded on the history/graph since noon and its now 9:30pm.  I have synced repeatedly, restarted the phone and app, fully charged the fitbit, and changed multiple settings within the app.  Nothing has changed it.

Welcome to the forums @newpowers! I have to say, this is an odd situation.

There is a chance that an outdated app or firmware is not transmitting all of your information, please check if there's a firmware update for Charge HR or a Fitbit App update for iOS or Android

Keep me posted if this works, let me know if you have any questions! Smiley Very Happy

I have this exact situation as well.  It seems to reset at midnight - and I'll start getting HR history again, but there's no telling when it might just stop.

Otherwise I am really happy with my new fitbit.

I have read the update stuff and checked the app and Fitbit, both appear up to date. I have also reset the Fitbit a couple of times, logged in and out, etc.

Strangely, it recorded heart rate 6am-10am this morning for some reason but that was all. This seems so weird to me as it was working perfectly for a month and had continual recordings of heart rate. I of course contacted customer support and told them the issue and all the steps I've taken so far to resolve it with no luck. So I'm waiting to see what they say.

Hi. I now have the same issue. A few days ago during the day the graphs stopped showing the history. The HR shows fine on both the device and my iPhone. But there is no history. This also includes when I exercise. I have reset everything, rebooted and reinstated the software and removed and relinked the FitBit and still no history.

Mine started working randomly the following day, long after I had finished trying solutions, so it resolved mircaculously on its own.  Not very happy with Fitbit customer support as they basically told me to do the same thing I had been doing (which I told them everything I had done up to that point), and that "oh its working again so still have a problem?", as in they were washing their hands of the situation with no explaination as to why it would do that.

On a positive note it hasn't had any issues since, but I feel like I'm walking on eggshells until the next time.  One question I have for other people with this issue, is that it might be related to the alarm feature on it?  Or perhaps it was just a coicidence it stopped working at the exact same time.  I haven't used the alarm since because I'm scared to haha.

No. Mine actually stopped working at the end of an exercise session. Well after the alarm had gone off!

Hello all! Can you tell me if you guys keep experiencing the same issue with the heart rate graph or the heart rate calculations in general? That way I can investigate further if this keep happening. Make sure you have everything up to date:

Try that out and let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy

Same problem, had the Charge HR since June (Father's Day) everything worked fine until this weekend. About 1AM today the heart rate graph just stops and no sleep logged overnight. Doesn't even display the flat line in the graph that it normally does if the fitbit isn't being worn.  Support kept trying to tell me to wear it differently, but the device is sensing and displaying heart rate it's just not syncing any heart rate information.  Restarted device - no change.  Uninstalled/re-installed app - no change.  Probably try a factory reset this evening. As others have stated heart rate/sleep tracking is the whole point of this device to me, really not that concerned with how many steps I've taken.  Google search indicates this is a common problem.

It's 2020 and this is still a common problem. I have owned 3 charge HR and they have all experienced this problem. My wife, too.

We've never considered complaining because we just figured it was something that happened when the trackers got old. But yes.

I just synced and see no heart rate history for today.
