Hello, I’m new to fitbit (2 weeks) and am using it to lose a little weight. After a 2 hour walk earlier, it logged my burnt calories as 687. I ate my tea, and shortly after realised my daily calorie burn had leapt back by 300. The walk has dropped down to 387, is there a way to make it accurate straight away? It’s done this for the last 4 days in a row with different exercises (biking, running etc) and it’s getting annoying - I’m worried I will eat over my allocated amount. Thankyou

@JRHarlow I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your calorie calculation. Start by logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure that the app is up to date. Check your personal information (age, height, weight, etc.) as this is used to calculate your BMR and restart your tracker by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem! I do the same walk / distance for an hour every day and have done for at least 6 months. I keep to the same pace. I normally do around 3.5 miles and the calories burned are always 380 / 400. However I've noticed in the last couple of weeks, the calories burned has dropped to 180? This just doesn't seem right? Yesterday when i got back from my walk it said i had burned 380 calories but when I checked back later, this had reduced to 200? Any ideas?! I'm also finding when i do cardio workouts the calories burned are a lot lower now than it has been in previous weeks, I am working just as hard? I have the versa 2 and its quite new, could there be an issue?
Thanks

I’m also having this same issue, I cycle a lot and when I get back I check my calories burnt then find after an hour or so they reduce by maybe 200-300. I know the first reading is accurate as I also use another heart rate tracker for seeing how many calories I burnt i was hoping to stop using that now I have this Fitbit but if I can’t get accurate data the Fitbit really is pointless.
