For some reason my charge2 stopped tracking exercise. It last recorded something on the 25th. However, the active minutes records correctly as does the heart rate. I can confirm it is syncing without a problem, I am not sure if I am doing something wrong.

Hi,
To use the interval workout mode in the gym does the charge 2 still require your phone to be with you?
As it starts tracking but then stops itself?
Thanks
Best AnswerNo the phone will not need to be with you.
There are only two reasons to have a phone.
- if you want to track with GPS, GPS will not work in a building.
- to see live data. Let's say your using a treadmill, you can open the Fitbit app and the screen will act like a remote display. Showing the current days data as the tracker is counting your steps .

Hey guys! I hope you are doing fine!
@Sperks91, just like my friend @Rich_Laue mentioned, you don't need to carry on your phone with you at least you want to use the GPS feature, but inside a gym doesn't help too much. Now, what I understood is that you are using the interval workout option on the Charge 2 itself but it suddenly stop, right? And you are also having the same issue right @Enlana? If so guys, I suggest you to try to restart your Charge 2. Just follow the instructions in this post to do so.
In addition, please take a look at this help article: How do I track intervals during my workouts? If you'd like to get more information.
Let me know how it goes!

Hey @Greenriver, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! When you say that your Versa stopped tracking your workouts, are you saying that the activity won't appear neither on your Versa nor your Fitbit app after you completed and sync your watch? If so, you can try to restart your Versa. This procedure won't delete your data at all. Just follow these instructions to do so, then sync your Versa and let me know how it goes!
I'll be around!
Best AnswerMy charge 2 has stopped showing the 'exercise' option when I scroll through on my tracker. I can still get auto recognised activity recorded on my phone, but not shorter than 10 mins and not non- recognised activities. I've tried stopping and restarting the tracker plus uninstalling the app, but still can't scroll to exercise on my tracker. I've had it a few years now, so I guess it's come to the end of it's life?
