My Fitbit only shows run and Pilates 5 times. I used to have treadmill weights biking and interval. How to fix?

Within the Fitbit app -

Press on the Charge 3 icon at the upper left.

Scroll down to "Exercise Shortcuts" and press it.

Swipe left to hopefully delete the extra "Pilates" shortcuts. FYI - You should not be able to add an exercise more than once. I am at a loss as to how you have "Pilates" on the list a total of 5 times. Maybe the app is "confused" and has renamed the missing exercises as "Pilates". After 40 years as a developer and other things "IT" it wouldn't surprise me. For that reason, I wouldn't just delete the extra Pilates; I would remove them all and then add one back.

Press on "+ Exercise Shortcut" to add the exercises you want.

I hope the above helps and welcome to the boards.

Thank you for your feedback. This was actually the second time this has
happened! My friend showed me how to do what you suggested and the
interesting thing is that pilates wasn't even on the list! In any case,
the glitch, once again, seemed to fix itself. Very odd!

That helped a lot, I don't run any more, Had TKE in 2007 doc was strong on NOT doing that at all nor a few other things. Walking and biking are my thing. Was able to get rid of what I don't want and have in place what I needed!  Thanks

If I am reading your post correctly, pilates will not show on the list once it is enabled. I have walk, treadmill, exercise and interval workout enabled and they no long show in the list of exercises available for addition.

Should I remove one of the four that exercise will then show in the list for addition.

I have the same problem!! I used to have run, bike, treadmill, elliptical, and weights as my exercises.  Now today, I have run, bike, treadmill, and Pilates 3 times.  I have never had Pilates on any of my Fitbits or within the app or on my computer.  I switched my app to have just elliptical and weights, but my watch still has the other exercises, plus Pilates (3 times)!  I even restarted my phone and synced several times.  HELP!!!

What I eventually did was delete all my exercise types and added them back
in. I haven't had an issue since. Good Luck!

I have the same issue and try what you suggested. However, in the app on my phone the original (default) exercise types (run,  bike, swim, treadmill, weights, walk) show up, but on my fitbit it still says run, bike, swim, pilates, pilates, pilates. At a loss what to do....

You need to go the website to make the changes.

I tried changing my exercise modes on the phone APP (no change on my FB3), and I tried on the website (again, no change on my FB3). Repeated syncing yielded no change. In my case, my 1st mode is walk as I had previously set, then 5 Pilates modes after this...I simply cannot get rid of the error Pilates modes, nor get my device to display the correct exercise modes that I desire. Tried to send a request to Fitbit for help, not sure I had the correct location as they make it difficult to find a clear technical support contact for them for help. Anyone have a direct email or link to a customer service type / technical support location?

Here is the procedure that Fitbit Customer Service provided (enhanced by me) when this issue happened to me (it worked perfectly):

1) Restart the device. Here's how (select your device from the options provided):

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186

2) From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the account icon > tracker tile > exercise shortcuts (or similar method to access your exercise shortcuts)

3) Remove all but one exercise activity, then force sync the tracker as instructed here:

https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1877#manual

4) Open the exercise shortcuts again, choose the exercise modes/settings that you want, then sync the device again.

The reboot worked, but I am grateful that you went through each step.  Thanks so much!

FitBit, when are you going to fix what is obviously a software issue?
