My Charge 3 went through a firmware update today (v20001.88.11) and now there isn’t an option to set a silent alarm. During the update it said that they would be deleted and I’d have to reset them but that option isn’t anywhere that I can find it now.

Will need to do a little research before I make a move to new tracker.

I just tried. It is on your band. Squeeze once and slide right until you see alarms. It will ask for what time, Smart Wake on/off, and whether you want to repeat it. Squeezing again on any screen will bring you back to the previous screen. You can click a set alarm and scroll down to delete it or press the + button to add another. Hope this works for everyone.

Bizarre backwards update to the UI. I had multiple alarms with different wake times. They were super easy to manipulate and turn on/off when needed. Now we have to same technology that Marty McFly had on his watch in 1985. Puzzling...

In addition to no silent alarm in the app, my gps on the app quit working and there is no longer an option for all day sync. Wish I could go back.

I apparently just got the update. What makes this change unacceptable is the lack of warning I use the alarms to take medicine. One wakes me during the night, another during my busiest time of day. I read through the responses and figured out how to set the alarms. Setting alarms on the app was easier, but the new way isn't terrible once you do it a couple of times. Someone said one reason it's hard is the screen is so dark, and that's a fact.

Very frustrating! It took me a long time to figure it all out and most certainly easier with the app! You can lighten your screen by flicking to the left 4 times until you get to the lines for settings and touch that until the screen gets brighter, Alarms need a bit of fiddling but once you've sussed it, it gets easier! Goid luck! No more updating for me anymore!!!

Yep, I agree. Seems like a lot of work to set alarm.

This change makes the fitbit basically rubbish to me.
A tech support person just tried to tell me that some users wanted to change alarms with the watch rather than their phone. A company that respected its users might have given both options. But having us unknowingly lose a convenience when we do a firmware update is neither helpful nor respectful.
I'm disappointed that this situation has been around for weeks with no fix.

It is very inconvenient. I did find if you swipe left on your band until you get to alarms you can set the alarm and if you swipe up on the alarm it had an option to repeat. I hope this helps.

Thank you. It was the repeats that got me. I have to take a pill the same time every day, so this was very important to me.

You should be able to keep adding alarms. I just added my two back. Add the first one, back out, and hit the '+' again to add another. Just keep scrolling through for settings like repeat.

Thanks for the instructions! It was on the band and did you notice there is a repeat feature that you can set for every day! But probably have to be same time! I wish they would have left in the app so much easier!

I absolutely am furious that by accepting the update I lost functionality! Fitbit needs to put the ability to set the alarm on the app back!!
