You can't manually change the date or time but they should reset themselves whenever your fitbit syncs with your phone or computer. Has your fitbit been setup ok and does it seem to be syncing?
The only other thing that affects the time is your timezone setting in your profile. You can check yours at: https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile
