Fitbit Charge 2 Stops Tracking by Itself

my charge 2 randomly stops tracking.  It seems to be having difficulty syncing with the phone as well.  I've tried resetting the fitbit.  force shut down of app, redownloading of app, turning off/on bluetooth, and unpairing / repairing the device.  The problem still persists.  Any advice?  Is this related to a new firmware??  It's really frustrating

After reaching out to support...the conclusion was that it was an abnormal behavior for the device and they offered discounted coupons to purchase another device.  No thanks! After doing some quick research..looks like Fitbit products are only good to last 2 years.  Horrible quality!  I'm moving on to another brand.
