The fitbit started to vibrate nonstop and died.
Left it charging for 3 hrs, which is more than enough.
Now it's not responding. Still dead.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi CB,
Thanks for the tip.
Tried the restart with both the charging cable connected and not connected to the Fitbit. No success.
Cleaned the contacts. Cleaned everything, but no reaction so far.
It's 20 months old. Maybe it's the lifespan of it. What do you think?
Time to move to an Apple watch?

@H1tech @artephoto1 Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't working. @artephoto1 thank you for restarting the device as @SunsetRunner and cleaning it. I would like to suggest you try the following:
Start by cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi Alvaro,
Thanks for the reply. Tried it again in different USB port. Cleaned it again. TRied restarting, but no success.
It looks like a RIP device.
I'm not happy about it, but it says a lot about the quality of the device.
Feeling more likely to migrate to Apple watch series 4. Technical support is easier and quicker when needed.
