Fitbit Charge 2 wont power on

I have gone through several threads on this, attempted every troubleshoot solution out there from cleaning terminals to attempting to reset 3-5 times, however it is hard to reset something that wont even vibrate when plugged into a computer or the wall.  

 

Here is some info on my fitbit

Last sync was today at 245am

Firmware version 22.22.55.2

Battery at last sync : Full

 

I have taken toothpick and alcohol w/q-tip to the charge terminals.

I have tried 3 different UL listed wall chargers, and 2 separate computers.

The screen is black, the green lights are NOT on, it is as if it just shut off and wont turn back on.

 

I paid good money for this thing and can not afford a new charge 3 so a little help here people?

I’m having the same issue. Looks like it’s just dead ...black screen no green lights

Hi Alvaro. This is my first time to the 'community' so not exactly sure how this works, but two days ago my Charge2 is no longer working - no green light, no screen, no sync, not charging...App does show it still has a charge though. Thanks

Same issue with mine. I bought it last year and then upgraded to the Versa 2. The Charge 2 has been sitting in its original box for over 9 months. Finally took it out to charge it up and nothing. Tried all the steps like different USB ports, low voltage USB charger (like phone one), etc. Still a brick even after keeping plugged in overnight. Even though it is now only a few weeks past end of 1 yr warranty, customer support only offered 25% discount towards purchase of new Ionic. Seriously? Fitbit knows this has been an issue with the Charge 2 and could have at least offered to send a replacement charger to see if that fixes it. Would only cost them a couple dollars at most.

My is doing the same thing. It won't come on, the screen is blacked out, the green light won't turn on, and it won't charge. I've been looking all over the Internet for this and so far I found nothing to help me. So I came on here hoping that maybe there's something on here that can help me. I thought I was the only one thank goodness I found this. Can someone help me.

Exactly. Mine “died” 3 days ago out of the blue. Had been working just fine with no issues. Hoping to see what responses are garnered in helping with the issue.

Follow through with support,  they are replacing mine as it is still under warranty.

If your Fitbit is still under warranty create a support ticket and go through their hoops and they will replace it

Carefully read the email that they sent you regarding that 25% discount because if it is anything like mine they will offer you a free replacement of your existing or the discount on new item

As per the rest of my replies to the posts here please contact support if your 5th it is still under warranty they will either replace your existing or give you a link to a 25 to 50% discount on a new one

I have the same problem. Im from the netherlands. And bought my fitbit in feb 2017. What should I do?

Well. I have done that too. But since the fitbit wont turn on it wont sync with the app. Which makes an update useless 😞

Please let me know what the steps are. My charge 2 hasn’t worked in over 6 months and I miss it!  The screen is just dark, no green lights when charging, nothing. 
Please help 😕

Same issue... Hadn't used it in a few months. Went to charge it up using my computer. It seemed to be charging and when it looked to be done I unplugged it, then nothing. Screen was black and would not react to the charger. It is way past it's warranty so am i just out of luck?? It should last more than 2 years.... it still looks brand new!
