Fitbit Charge 3 - Screen Not Working

Hi Everyone,

 

Ive had my Fitbit Charge 3 for nearly a week now and was working fine up until last night.

 

When I woke up this morning the screen was not working and it wasn’t syncing with the app.

 

One the back of the device, there is a green and red light constantly flashing. 

 

Ive tried pressing the side buttons and I have tried putting it on charge but neither are working. 

 

Does anyone one have any tips on what to do?

My FitBit stopped working along with the ones listed. It did help to place on charger, hold for 10 seconds and release. Now it works. Thanks for the community response. It truly helps.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Handyandy2805 and @Chazza123! Thanks for letting us know the steps you've tried so far.

 

As per the description of your posts, it seems that your devices are still syncing. So, since the restart did not work, I'd recommend trying to change the clock face to a different one to see if that brings the display back. I've gone through the process of changing the clock face, syncing the fitbit Charge 3 and attempting to restart several times this morning and nothing seems to work to bring back the display. Why does it seem like this is an ongoing issue where we need to restart the device every couple of weeks to get the display working again? I really loved my Charge 2 and bought the Charge 3 as an upgrade but now I'm starting to regret the decision.

If you place it in the charger, hold the side button in for 10 seconds, the
screen should work. This worked for me.

That has worked in the past. I've tried that multiple times this morning as well as changing the clock face and nothing has worked so far.

Tried that several times and it still isn't working. I've also tried rebooting the device several times without luck. Contacted support and they walked me through the same steps I've been trying all morning with no results.

I did the say thing putting the watch in the clip and pressing until the simley face came on and it worked. In the begining  i was pressing the button on the watch without putting the watch in the clip.

Put it on the Charger and hold side button for 10 seconds.

Open the app on your smart or tablet. Go to settings and change the clock face.
That should work.

I woke to the same issue, read this forum then reset by changing the watch face. It worked so try that one too folks.
