Fitbit Charge 3 issues

I am able to charge my Fitbit and works perfectly while on the charge but when I take it off it acts dead. Won’t turn on. I’ve also attempted to clean my Fitbit to see if that would help but nothing worked ? Please help ! What does this mean ?
