charge 4 died during the last night
charged it fully but in just an hour it reported just a few percent
uninstalled all apps, set GPS to phone only, turned off irregular heartbeat, rebooted several times...
fully charged but in an hour it's almost drained
before last night it held a week with no issues
Moderator edit: Subject for clarity.

This is happening to me starting Monday this week. I fully charge the Charge 4 and it drains in an hour. Now, after fully charging it, the display flashes on and off and the button doesn't work to change the display. I did a restart, unpaired and re-paired the device, nothing is better. It is useless to me
I see many comments about this issue after an update on the Charge 5 - is this a similar software issue caused by Fitbit?

@maksiong Welcome to the forums. @SunsetRunner Nice to see you in the forums again. Thanks for your posts about the Fitbit Charge 4's battery.
I was informed that you both reported this with Fitbit Customer Support. I am glad you are already in contact with them. They will provide you with a suitable resolution.

Thanks for the support but since the Charge 4 is out of warranty, I am also out of a Fitbit
I received the standard 35% discount on a new non-sale item but I don't see the point in purchasing another Fitbit tracker

I’ve had the same issue with my charge 4. So frustrating!
