Hi I recently got a Fitbit Charge 3. It is not charging nor can I reset because the phone doesn’t vibrate when I hook it to the charger. I’ve tried cleaning the Fitbit with q-tip as well as making sure the pins are aligned but no luck. Anyone has a similar issue?
I have had my Fitbit charge 3 for one week. It was at 29% so I hooked it up to the charger cable. When I came back to check it after 30 minutes it was beeping and had drained down to 19%. With my old Charge 2, the screen showed it was charging when I connected it to the cable. This did not occur with the new Charge 3. I just kept beeping and then the battery was completely drained and I got a smiley face, a rectangle with an exclamation point, and then nothing. I tired holding the button down for 5 seconds and still nothing happens. How do I know if the Fitbit is charging?
Best AnswerSomewhere I read that the smiley face appears when your Fitbit is fully charged! Not so in my case. The smiley face appeared once and then just kept beeping with only the ! in the box. Left it unplugged overnight and could not even get a beep out of it today. Totally dead. I will deal with my warranty with the Fitbit Charge 3 later.
I just ordered another Fitbit Charge 2 (difficult to find) online through Verizon. I really didn't want the Charge 3 anyway but I had the replacement protection plan with Best Buy. It does not look like the Charge 3 has had a very good run. Fitbit 4 comes out soon but I do not want the GPS tracker!!! Too many bells and whistles.
I will be interested in hearing from the online tech support.....
Best AnswerI started having the same issue about 4 days ago when I updated the app. I have cleaned the charging port, reset the charge 3 and have had no luck. I now have to charge it every day whereas it used to last 5-7 days.
Same thing happened to me a few days ago. Charge 3 will not hold a charge for a full day. Got my tracker December 2018. Have had other Fitbits that lasted longer.
This happened suddenly not gradually. Last week it lasted 7 days.
