Fitbit charge 3 oxygen sensor

At the risk of asking a question many other community members have already asked. 

Do we have an update for the oxygen sensor being switched on? 

 Reason I chose the Fitbit charge 3 over some of the others out there was literally due to the oxygen sensor. Having used Fitbit in the past they generally have a life span of a year or slightly longer. At the risk of my fitibit dying out without having used the one feature I wanted are you able to advise if I am liable for a refund so I can use the money with another brand who have already switched on their key selling features?

Short answer, no, there is no update on time frame.  And it is unlikely Fitbit will let any of us know until it actually happens.

As far as refund, you would probably have to ask fitbit support about that.

It would be nice for Fitbit to give an official update on the oxygen sensor.

I just bought this yesterday for the same reason you listed.  I want to track my O2 % more during exercise than during sleep (there are other devices for that if necessary)

I am VERY tempted to return it bc all the other "bells and whistles " are less appealing/can be provided by other devices. 

Good to know Fitbit is all bait and no real delivery.

@Activeanni I see your point. So far fitbit support has only updated us the EOV graph has been launched for certain users since Dec 2009. It is yet to arrive for all in 2020. I haven't heard about monitoring O2 during exercise, however.

If it can monitor O2, shouldn't matter when/why (sleep vs exercise). I
want to see how well I am doing with activity not as much at rest.
I want it to be "as advertised"!!
