Been having problems with my charge hr3 syncing for a few days but today will not sync at all. Also the clock does not show the correct time. Loses an hour plus most days. Fitbit is fully charged. Have tried the following without luck any idea of anything else I can do.
Rebooted phone and Fitbit.
Switch off and on Bluetooth.
Tried syncing on mobile and WiFi.
Removed Fitbit from app and set up again which took over an hour and it than synced but will not do it again.
Tried sycn when on charge.
Have been it contact with Fitbit and they are saying it is my phone but it it's been working up to this week why all of a sudden stop. Also this does not answer why the Fitbit shows incorrect time. I have been a customer for 5 years and love the charge range starting witch the charge 1 all the way to charge 3 and also the scales. I have in the past found them helpful but know feel that they don't care. Starting to look at other makes.

I've been having the same problem. It started when I updated the app software. If you look on reviews on play store, lots of people have the same problem.

Same has happened to me too. Woke up Friday morning and it wasn’t connected. Tried everything as suggested and it’s still not connecting or syncing. I too have been a customer for many years. Luckily my trusted charge 2 still works so I’m using that at the mo. But it’s not good. Mine is still under warranty so I will get taking it back and getting a refund if this isn’t sorted soon.
it’s obviously the new update. As it was working fine before that. 😡

I just went on to the online chat (see below) and they took me through a long restart which still didn't help my charge 3 but they have agreed to replace mine as it was still under warranty
Tatiana:May I ask you if is the green led light on the back part of your Fitbit blinking when you put it on your wrist for a moment?
Me:no lights
Tatiana:Thanks for sharing it with me.
Tatiana:If your device’s battery was depleted to 0%, and it won't turn on we suggest you leave your device plugged into the charging cable for at least 30 minutes.
Me:It has been on all night
Tatiana:I see.
Tatiana:Let's try some troubleshooting steps, please clean the contacts on the back part of your Fitbit with some alcohol.
Tatiana:Also the contacts on the charging cable.
Tatiana:Thoroughly dry your device before charging it.
Tatiana:Then plug the charging cable to a USB port, then the Fitbit into it.
Tatiana:Make sure that the contacts are aligned when you plug it back in.
Tatiana:If you need a moment, I can hold it.
Me:it has been cleaned but if you wait l will do it again
Tatiana:May I ask when you tried to clean it?
Me:cleaned it yesterday before i put it on charge
Tatiana:And after it, do you tried the restart on it?
Me:tried restart again this morning and it vibrates but that is all
Me:that is it back on the charger
Tatiana:Okay.
Me:it buzzes when the pins make contact
Tatiana:Okay.
Tatiana:Can you take it off again and let me know if the ligth in the back is flashing?
Me:still no lights
Tatiana:I would like to suggest a long restart on your Charge 3.
Me:is that holding it for 8 seconds again
Tatiana:No, it's different.
Tatiana:Please follow the instructions below:
Tatiana:Connect the device to the charging cable.
Tatiana:While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
Tatiana:The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
Tatiana:The device turns off.
Tatiana:The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
Tatiana:Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
Tatiana:Plug the device into the charging cable again.
Tatiana:Is it done?
Me:it was one long vibration no changes
Tatiana:Thank you for your efforts to solve this before contacting us, Jacqui. We're lucky to have tech-savvy customers such as yourself, as this expedites the process.
Tatiana:Since you tried all the troubleshooting regarding this issue, let's check the warranty status of your Fitbit.
Tatiana:May I ask, what's your country of residence?
Me:United Kingdom
Tatiana:Thanks for all the information provided, please allow me a brief moment while I check the warranty options available for you, I'll be right back.
Tatiana:Your device has been confirmed to be eligible for a warranty replacement!
Tatiana:Before we can send the replacement, we need you to return the device face to us. We’ll provide you with a prepaid shipping label. After we receive your package, we'll send your replacement within 5 business days.

This worked for me
Try clearing your Bluetooth app cache and the Fitbit app cache, as instructed on your android guide or like this: Try these steps for fixing Bluetooth issues > Settings > Apps > Show System Apps > Bluetooth Share / Bluetooth Test / Fitbit app > Storage > Clear cache/data. & Finally, reset your phone.

I have been having the same problem with my versa. They said it was an iOS issue but it also won’t sync on Android platform. I am losing 3 hours overnight. I cannot say how frustrated I am. I have done everything possible right down to a factory reset. Arg.

I spoke to Fitbit support on chat yesterday they told me it was a known fault and they were working on it. He had no idea how long this would take. Which isn’t much help but least It’s App software related and not our watches.

I have found it has only been a problem the last few weeks. It seems to be syncing in the early hours of the morning, and then stops during the day. It is comforting to know that other people are having the same problem only it is a bit annoying. They have told me they are aware of the problem and that they are working on it, so I will just have to be patient and wait.
I don't actually know how to reset only this aspect on my android phone.

I to add a message back from Fitbit explaining it was the app and they were working on it. I rely on my fitbit an awful lot due to Anxiety and being stuck in the house having a fitbit which seems to consistently lose time is confusing.

It is certainly difficult and it doesn't seem that many of us are having issues with both the sync and incorrect time. I do feel for you. Be safe and try to use the relax app. It might help. I am using another watch for now to get time. That is helping me.

This is ridiculous. My Fitbit charge 3 is now nearly an hour slow and still not syncing to laptop or phone. I've just done a reboot but nothing happened. I hope Fitbit come up with some answers soon.

When I wake this morning at 4.55 mine still was yesterday at 11.57. I have found out that if you put it on charge for about 1/2 hour it will sync and correct time but then it starts losing again
04-17-2020 05:55
04-17-2020 05:55
It has now corrected itself and is nearly right time. !.45 instead of 1.55.
