Hi I recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy A20e and my Fitbit can't pair with it,I am so disappointed as I have had my charge 2 for 3 years and now I can't at track my cycles or steps. Can you please tell me when my phone will be added to the list or if it ever will? My laptop is windows 7 so I can't even use the Fitbit app on that.

@Louigriff It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not syncing with your phone. As you mentioned your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. I am not sure when or if it will be added to the list but you can try the following:
Let me know how it goes.

Hi, I actually have the same problem. I know the Samsung a20e is not on the list yet ( hopefully it will be added soon), however as soon as I bought my phone it I tried to connect it to my Alta HR and it seemed to work. About a week later I tried to connect them again and it says they can't be paired. I followed the instructions suggested but nothing seems to change. Is there anything else that could be done to solve this problem? Thank you.

When you say the phone is not compatible what does that actually mean? I am thinking of getting a Samsung A20e. At the moment I have a Samsung J3 which is on the compatible list but doesn't sync with my Fitbit AltaHR so I sync via the laptop. Otherwise the app seems to be working fine on the J3. I don't want notifications etc.. Does the app - that is showing steps, sleep, active minutes etc..work on all phones, and the compatibility problems are related to syncing and notifications only?

I am having the same problem cannot get My Charge 2 to pair with A20e. I have tried evering thing - has Fitbit come up with a solution yet. It will sync intermittently bit just wont pair - I havent tried it on a run yet but I suspect I wont be able to record it either. This is really frustrating!

Hi there. If you sync your fitbit through a computer can you look at your data - eg steps, active minutes, sleep etc on your A20e?

I have had the same problem. Upgraded to samsung A20e in June, my Fitbit app transfer was successful and the phone paired with my charge2 2 and I was able to sync and update. I have however recently been to Europe and my phone updated the time, the Fitbit synced successfully but then would not sync on my return to the UK. My watch is now on the incorrect time zone and I have tried ALL the suggested fixes (resetting and restarting, setting up from the start again etc) BUT it fails at the final step! I have contacted support who have not been able to offer a soluton. I am gutted! I do hope fit it are able to make their app work for Samsung a20e otherwise my Fitbit is sadly useless!

I could have written exactly the same as you about a holiday and then the charge 2 not syncing with A20e. I had a firmware update on the Fitbit I hadn't done but then couldn't do as no sync since 11th Aug. So having read the thread above, I tried all other solutions to no success thought as I've other devices that I could use the App on and hopefully sync I'd do that. Success download the App to my work phone, synced Fitbit and did the firmware update. Then reinstalled App on A20e and paired Fitbit and sync seemed to work but still getting the occasional notification to say sync was taking longer than normal. So selected App from work phone, so I knew A20e sync was what I was seeing and updated notification settings and I'm back in business. Hope others similarly can get their devices paired and syncing correctly.

I have the same problem. Stopped syncing when I got to Portugal and hasn't done it since returning home! Have tried the tip of syncing with Samsung Galaxy 8 and done the hardware update, but unfortunately A20e still cannot even find the Fitbit, let alone sync with it! Wish I'd kept the old phone now!
