I’m a longtime Fitbit fan, now wearing a Charge 2. For about a week, I’ve been getting only simplified sleep data. I have:
Cleaned the Charge 2
Reset the Charge 2
Made sure the app is updated
Checked wrist placement
Disconnected the device from the iPhone and reconnected it
Each night gotten more than 3 hours sleep
Double checked all the settings
Any ideas? Please be honest if this is a device fail and I need a new one.

@LauraC. It's great to see you in the Community!
Let me help you with your Charge 2 not getting sleep stages and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device. You could also try wearing your tracker on the other wrist to see if this helps with the sleep detection.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi Alvaro,
Thanks for the suggestions - I took these steps but am still getting only simplified sleep.
