Golf Shortcut

I have added Golf to my Account - Charge 2 - exercise shortcuts but when I then go to exercise- timer- track it is only showing walk run or hike. Or if I go to exercise settings the golf shortcut is not showing. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or give me a quick step by step on how I go about adding golf to my exercise and tracking?

@FitHappyMe Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! I think you are confusing two different options. The golf tracking option will show on the tracker itself after you have added it on the settings area and synced your tracker. To start it just press the button until you see a sport (usually run) then tap the base of the screen to scroll through the different options finally just long press the button when you see the golf option. The Hike, Run or Walk options are seeing on your app and it is to use the app itself along your phone's gps sensor to record these activities. For more information you can check the Charge 2 manual.

Let me know how it goes!

Thank you for your lengthy reply and quick response. However I still cannot find it. I have added golf to my settings and synced. But when you say press the button, what button are you referring to? Sorry to sound so dim. If I go to +track exercise I get three options only, which are run walk and hike. I cannot see anything to scroll down through. Thank you for the link to the manual. There was nothing in my FitBit box showing me that and nothing came up on the FitBit to tell me about the manual either. I have skimmed through it wuickly but am still none the wiser as to how to track golf. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. Lesley

@FitHappyMe  Press the button on the tracker itself until you see the Run icon.  Now tap the tracker until you see Golf.  Press and hold the button on the tracker itself to start/stop.

For additional clarification, when you start/stop the activity from the app -- where the only choices are run, walk and hike -- Fitbit calls that MobileRun.  When you start/stop from the tracker, Fitbit calls the Multisport (exercise) mode.

Hello @FitHappyMe, the Charge 2 only has one button. Tap the button on the Chatge 2 until you get to the exercise menu..If the exercise listed is not Golf, tap the screen until Golf shows. Now hold in the button to start or stop the recording of.the Gulf event.

@FitHappyMe Don't worry, this is why I am here. The button I mentioned is the one on your tracker. There you will find the golf option. You can find the instructions here
