@Pamthor Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is not tracking your heart rate properly and it's not even showing on the Fitbit app. I'd like you to take a look at this help article which contains great troubleshooting steps for this issue and details to take into consideration so your Charge 3 can track your heart rate.
Let me know if this fixes the issue!

I am hoping to get a positive response from Fitbit Thailand. I have owned a Charge HR (no issues), still own a Charge 2 HR (no issues) and in the interim I have gone and purchased a Fitbit Ionic.
My Charge 3 would not pick up my HR or only for short periods of time, the shop exchanged it but the same problem occurred so they sent it to the service center where the latest update is that there is no fault. The girl in the shop saw it with her own eyes, the signal went. I did chat with Customer Service online and tried all their suggestions but nothing worked. I am now worried the shop here in Thailand will try to tell me there is nothing they can do and I am left with no Charge 3. I honestly do think it maybe y physiology as it worked on the girls arm but not mine, however my Charge 2 works no problem.
If anyone else has had the same issue please do let me know.

@craigbkk Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is not tracking your heart rate either. I want to follow up and would like to know if the people at shop you bought the Charge 3 from provided a solution.
Looking forward to your response!

@JuanJoFitbitI have an update for you.
The official reseller have not been able to remedy the problem after sending the Charge 3 to the Service Center. They have given me a refund.
The thing is I am just really baffled as to why it didn't work with me yet my Charge HR, Charge 2 and Ionic all work perfectly. I really do love the Charge series, I ended up buying the Ionic due to the Charge 3 issue but I wish I had a working Charge 3.
Any information about similar cases you can find would be great, even to satisfy my curiosity as in total I tried 3 trackers and all had the same issue with me yet I know for a fact one was fully working with the girl in the reseller, so what the heck is up with my arm and has this happened to others? It's a mystery.
Hope to hear from you on this one.

@JuanJoFitbitso are Fitbit prepared to take on the challenge of finding out why I can't use a Charge 3 and what the mystery is?
The Charge 3 is grear for my boxing workouts so I am really hoping someone at Fitbit comes up with an answer.
My Ioinic works well though 🙂

Hi there I am having the exact same problems. I have done all the troubleshooting many many times. And I have now exchanged the charge 3. The new one is doing the same thing. The only time it works is if I hold the sensor just slightly off my skin. But as soon as it touches my skin the light goes off and the heart rate monitor stops working.

Hi, the heart rate monitor on my Charge 3 stopped working 2 days ago and I can't get it to work anymore either.

Mine is doing the same things. I even shaved my arm to see it that helps. And no luck so far. I am very disappointed in the charge 3

Did anyone find a solution? I went through the troubleshooting and it will work for a moment then stop 5-10 minutes later.

I ended up replacing it. However, the replacement won't sync my sleep nor the weather and rarely monitors my activity level correctly. 55 minutes of exercise shows 0-14 minutes sporadically.
Fix one, lose another... Really is kind of a piece of .... if you ask me but keeping and inconveniently figuring out on my own in order to try and stay on track...

I exchanged it 3 times and it made no difference, my Charge 2 worked perfectly but Charge 3 just did not register/monitor my HR. Even the girl in the store let me try hers and it was the same.....didn't work.
Is there something wrong with my wrist?????

Now that you mention it... My stairs are whacked (3 flights minimum per day and never registers more than 1), sleep not tracking (EVER) to watch, heart rate better this go around, weather doesn't sync, activity level during 55 minutes of exercise is 0-10...
OH YEAH, and when doing pilates, if the band rubs the watch it stops my exercise monitoring completely, have tried turning it to the bottom of my wrist but apparently that area doesn't monitor at all!
Not the wrist, it's the product!!! With so many consistent problems, why has there been no FIX??? Ordered mine through Amazon and out of my return window :*(

I purchased my Fitbit charge 3 in April and just a few days ago I noticed my heart rate monitor is also not working. Steps aren't tracking right either. I can be sitting still and all the sudden it tells me steps were made for the hour. I hope Fitbit issues a recall or something on the charge 3 because this is ridiculous with so many people having the same problem.
