Can someone help me find how to hide my steps from the Rankings page? I no longer want friends to be able to see my average daily step count. I know it can be done but I can't find how to do it.
I have not been able to find anything since a thread in 2016/2017 and the steps outlined in that thread are no longer applicable.
See Who can see my average daily step count?
Best AnswerThanks but that’s not quite it. There is no option there to list average daily steps as private. I’ve seen Fitbit users doing it where their steps show in challenges but their profile shows ‘no recent activity’

I see you are right. Perhaps the logic is that that's what friends are for. If they cannot see your steps, that there is no point in making them friends. Perhaps.

It was removed some time ago. People who already hid there's are still hidden. Its not allow to do it now any longer
