Hourly activity goal isn't matching

I am so frustrated about keeping loosing my steps/hour. My Fitbit logs it correctly but the app (PC and iPhone) keep missing them. I feel that with Charge 3 things got much worse than with Charge 2, when this was rare. There has to be a way to fix this, I can't believe it.

I am wondering about returning it. I’ve had it since June and the problem happens at least once a week. Very disappointing.

My Charge 3 device tells me I've done all my 250 step segments but my Dashboard says I missed one. It does this occasionally. I'll even keep going, doing more than 250, in case this will help. I don't think my device always counts my steps accurately. I can sometimes count 50 steps in my head and my device hasn't recorded one.

Hi Alejandra, I appreciate your reply. I reported this issue also via Twitter and adding also a picture of my app and Fitbit device. Unfortunately, as few times before, the response was "we are reporting this issue, we are working on it", it's been years. My Fitbit Charge 3 reported 9/9 (goal of day met) and the app 6/9. I believe that if a synchronization doesn't happen for some reason what is wrongly stored in the cloud doesn't get revisited and you have this anomaly with the device telling you something and the record in the cloud something else.

I am also having this problem, exactly the way you stated it.  Very disappointing.  I need that extra pat on the back and when it doesn’t report on one of the earlier hours I. The day, it really blows my motivation. Christmas Day I managed to get a perfect day with all 12 activity hours completed and it didn’t record ANY of them when synced with my iPad. I have reported it,  it gotten the typical message of they’ll report it and then nothing.

After reporting the issue, again I had another instance of 5/9 reported and 9/9 on the device. What disappoints me the most is the responses that I receive from customer service. They appear to be willing to help just to conclude with the same answer while nothing gets resolved
