I know that you posted this question quite a while ago but just wondered if you solved your problem. I have just done the same thing and now cannot see anything on the screen to be able to get back to see Settings.

Hello everyone. @anmab Welcome to the community forums.

@anmab Thank you very much for the detailed information. At this time, I'd recommend visiting this thread that contains tips and suggestions on how to resolve screen inconveniences.

Access is denied to the thread you suggested. Super annoyed that I can’t see my watch screen. I feel like it’s gradually getting worse over time.

I had the same problem. Fitbit support has been useless, and no fix in the community response.  Took my Charge 3 back to where I bought it from.  Because I had a very feint image on my tracker, they took it into a dark room and could just read the settings. Changed the brightness setting back to normal and voila, it is working again.  Thank you Joyce Mayne, you have been great.

@Jemimah yes over the years, the linked thread has been removed. Instructions to change brightness may be found through the Help Link at the bottom of the page

How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

@Foxycat49 they adjusted the screen brightness. Many people, including me, felt the Charge 3 never was easy to read in bright sunlight. Especially if set to auto
