Hi, I have just joined medibank private. It says you get bonus points every time you walk 10,000 steps. I have clicked on the flybuys link and it keeps sending me back to the original page. I have phoned medibank and they dont know. I have phoned flybuys and they said to update chrome and enable cookies. I have dont that and it still does not work.
Any suggestions would be fantastic. Thanks Jodie

Hi @jodiec. I have just tried the same using both the Firefox and Chrome web browsers and it works fine. Here is the Medibank flybuys direct link for you to try.

Hi @SunsetRunner, I have been clicking on those links, when i click on the link it sends me to the next page, then i click on that link and it sends me back to the previous page again. I am going round in circles. Or is this what is supposed to happen? Totally confused. Do I need to do anything else? Not really sure how its tracked. Thanks Jodie . I have only joined medibank today.

Hi @jodiec. When I click on that direct link from my previous post it opens a new web page and on the bottom right hand side there is a "Link My Device" box (see pic).
The link associated with that green box is this link. It redirects to the flybuys Sign In webpage. I can't get past that because I don't actually have an account there. Try those two links. Then, presumably after logging in there, there is an area where you can link your Fitbit account to your flybuys account.
If this still doesn't work then I recommended rebooting your machine and clearing the cache and cookies from your browser. There is some info on how to do that here. You could also try with another web browser as mentioned earlier.
If it still doesn't work after all that then my last idea is to contact Medibank or flybuys again and see if they can further assist (or maybe someone else here has some other tips).

Thanks @SunsetRunner, for all of your help. That is exactly what I have been doing and i have just cleared everything that you told me and rebooted my computer. I would have thought it would have been pretty straight forward to do, but I will call flybuys again tomorrow. Thanks again for your help 🙂

Hi @jodiec, I have the exact same problem. I called flybuys, in essence they said, try those links if it doesn't work there's not much else we can do.
Have you managed to resolve this? They asked me to send screenshots of the errors and they said they will take up to 5 business days to resolve. Also, any of the steps count done till the resolution will NOT be counted towards the offer.

In case someone is looking to do this.
1. You need to take Medibank health insurance.
2. Sign up to flybuys and link to your Medibank account.
3. Purchase one of these activity trackersat https://store-au.fitbit.com/browse.php
(Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Versa, Fitbit Charge 3, Fitbit Aria 2) .
4. My Fitbit Charge 2 did not detect.
5.For your effort, 10,000 steps is equivalent to 5c worth of flybuys points (10 points)
