Everyday I get notifications telling me that either I need a certain amount of steps to reach my goal, or that I'm an over achiever with so many steps above my daily goal. That's great, however I now have 198 notifications showing. How can I delete all these older ones? Thanks!

Until there is no way to delete old notifications, I will choose shut-off Fitbit notification from my iPhone settings.

Ok we now can see what is being reffered to, mine never displays more than 30 days on my android phone.
Are you all using android, apple, or microsoft? Is it a problem with only one of the 4 Fitbit apps.
This question really belongs in the proper software board and not the tracker.

Hello folks! I hope you are doin' great!
The notifications that you received on the Fitbit app remained stored in the Fitbit app for 30 days, after that, they should be automatically deleted. However as I can see, there are some of you that still having the notifications saved on your account, so I'd like you to try the following to solve this and the notifications are going to be deleted after the 30 days:
- Make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your phone (Android or iOS)
- Log out/log in from the Fitbit app
- Force quit the app
- Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app
Let me know how it goes! 😉

Reinstalled the IOS App yesterday (trying to get the Sleep Stages issues resolved --- didn't work!). That said -- here is a screenshot of my oldest notification.
October 14, 2017.

Tried all the suggestions above but still have notifications going back a year. Have now switched off notifications in Ios settings for Fitbit. Really is about this was fixed, such a simple request from many many Fitbit users

Hey Mods/Support,
This thread is approaching a year old, and your users have clearly demonstrated a number of problems with this (and the way it's being handled) over that time:
Please, show a little more respect for your users' intelligence. Honestly, the broken feature is irritating, but not that big of a deal. The way it's been handled in this forum, on the other hand, borders on atrocious. If you want to handle this right, you'll need to first off just admit there's problem, then fix it. (Again, it was first raised nearly a year ago; I realize you have development priorities set, but one would think that this could have been addressed by now.) Along the way, a better (easier and more targeted) work-around would be great. (And for those who like more control, an intuitive interface for deleting old notifications would be a real bonus.)
