Everyday I get notifications telling me that either I need a certain amount of steps to reach my goal, or that I'm an over achiever with so many steps above my daily goal. That's great, however I now have 198 notifications showing. How can I delete all these older ones? Thanks!

Until there is no way to delete old notifications, I will choose shut-off Fitbit notification from my iPhone settings.

Ok we now can see what is being reffered to, mine never displays more than 30 days on my android phone.
Are you all using android, apple, or microsoft? Is it a problem with only one of the 4 Fitbit apps.
This question really belongs in the proper software board and not the tracker.

Hello folks! I hope you are doin' great!
The notifications that you received on the Fitbit app remained stored in the Fitbit app for 30 days, after that, they should be automatically deleted. However as I can see, there are some of you that still having the notifications saved on your account, so I'd like you to try the following to solve this and the notifications are going to be deleted after the 30 days:
- Make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed on your phone (Android or iOS)
- Log out/log in from the Fitbit app
- Force quit the app
- Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app
Let me know how it goes! 😉

Reinstalled the IOS App yesterday (trying to get the Sleep Stages issues resolved --- didn't work!). That said -- here is a screenshot of my oldest notification.

Tried all the suggestions above but still have notifications going back a year. Have now switched off notifications in Ios settings for Fitbit. Really is about this was fixed, such a simple request from many many Fitbit users

Hey Mods/Support,
This thread is approaching a year old, and your users have clearly demonstrated a number of problems with this (and the way it's being handled) over that time:
- This is an issue; notifications are not being erased after thirty days as you claim (I have encountered the same problem).
- You keep insisting that the old notifications will be removed after thirty days, but that simply isn't true. I think the community has done a more than adequate job of providing you with evidence that the feature is broken. Continuing to insist that it works when it clearly does not (or not consistently) doesn't make people feel better; it just raises the frustration level.
- People don't like having a backlog of old notifications that no longer have any value, nor do they like not having a way to erase them.
- The work-around provided is difficult, and often doesn't work. A better solution must be provided.
- Due to the lack of a better solution from you, users are actually shutting off a useful feature in your product just to avoid the hassle. Is that really how you want this handled?
Please, show a little more respect for your users' intelligence. Honestly, the broken feature is irritating, but not that big of a deal. The way it's been handled in this forum, on the other hand, borders on atrocious. If you want to handle this right, you'll need to first off just admit there's problem, then fix it. (Again, it was first raised nearly a year ago; I realize you have development priorities set, but one would think that this could have been addressed by now.) Along the way, a better (easier and more targeted) work-around would be great. (And for those who like more control, an intuitive interface for deleting old notifications would be a real bonus.)
