How do I delete old notifications?

Everyday I get notifications telling me that either I need a certain amount of steps to reach my goal, or that I'm an over achiever with so many steps above my daily goal.  That's great, however I now have 198 notifications showing.  How can I delete all these older ones?  Thanks!

It has been so frustrating for me for the last 2 years but it was so nice when someone with an iPhone shared the news that Fitbit finally put in a Delete option and I found it to be true for my Charge 2. I can imagine how much more frustrated you must be when even the solution others have used doesn’t work on your Fitbit. Hopefully someone will respond to this series of posts with a solution that will work for you.

Do you have an android. I go to notifications and hold my finger on the message.  A few seconds the word delete appears. Tap on it and the message goes away. Yes, I had to do them 1 by 1. 2 years worth. Took fitbit 3 years to get that to work.

IOS. I saw someone said go to notifications and swipe the word delete comes up. Tap on it.

Hope that helps.

I have an android 7 (samsung) and a charge 2, so maybe it won't work for
you. But if you're holding down the message that wouldn't work for me
either. You need to press and hold (until delete shows up) ON THE VERY FAR
RIGHT EDGE of the notification. I lean my thumb on the edge of my phone to
ensure I'm only touching the furthest right edge of notification, not any
other part of the notification. I don't know if this will work for you,
but you might try it.

I think I saw it and it didn’t work for me but if you would be so kind as to send it to me again, I’ll be sure it’s the one I already tried. I have an iPhone X.

I have an android, but I remember reading iOS fix. They said go to
notifications, and swipe. I think left, but you can try both. Then delete
should appear. Tap on the delete and notification disappears. Have to do
one by one.

Android, you hold your finger down on the notification for a few seconds
and the word delete appears. Tap on delete. Again one by one.

I dont know which iphone the person has, so try both these methods.
You can email Fitbit or try there website and ask.

I hope it helps.

I have found if you open to the page where your notifications are located and then hold your finger on one for a few seconds.....an option for delete will come up. Click it and its gone. Only thing is you have to delete one at a time. This is on a pixel 2 phone using the fitbit app

I have an android. Go to notifications. Hold your finger on the
notification. In a couple of seconds, the word delete will show up on the
bottom of the page. Tap on it. Sorry, you will have to do them one at a
time.
As I understand, on an apple, you can swipe the notification and the
delete comes up.

Hope it helps. I dont think you can delete more than one at a time.
