Hello everyone.
I have been using my charge 3 for some time but yesterday there were sync errors all day. I was reading through the forum and trying several stuff. It finally synced (not sure what exactly fixed that issue) but one of the things I did was that I removed it from my phone's paired bluetooth devices (not from the app). How do I add it again?

Add me to the list of growing Fitbit Charge 3 users who are going mad with this lack of syncing business. I also have a Moto G4 and have had my Fitbit since October 2018. Everything was syncing well and I got my weekly reports until January 4th. And since then, I have not had a single weekly report nor have I been able to sync my Fitbit with my phone. I have followed all the steps noted by two moderators here as well as other suggestions. Now my Fitbit has been reset to factory (lost all my hardwork data) and I'm caught in the cycle of 4-digit doom. It's been trying to connect for an hour now. My Fitbit is connected to the charger and is at 100% battery power.
PLEASE give us a DIFFERENT solution and do not tell me to buy a new phone. Or, please let me know how I can get my money back. If the Moto G4 was working in 2018, why would it not work now? Thanks!
If it was previously paired you'll need to not only "forget" the pairing in your phone but also factory reset the charge 3. This is done through the charge 3 device itself in the settings menu, scroll down to "about" and select "clear user data". After this is done go back to your phone, turn on Bluetooth, touch the card icon on the top right and add device. The app will search for the device, when it finds it the four digits will appear on the watch, enter them in the app which should be displaying.
This worked for me https://youtu.be/Z0iqx-l3cMg
Best AnswerI can't find the 4 digit code
Best AnswerThe four digit code should appear on the watch when the pairing is initiated from the phone app. Then you should be prompted to enter the code from the watch into the phone app. I had a problem because there was another charge 3 in close proximity and the four digit code was appearing on the wrong watch.

Best AnswerHi, my Fitbit wasn't working even though it was fully charged so I disconnected it to see if that would do the trick. It did! Now I'm trying to pair my Fitbit Charge 3 to my phone again but where it says 'Pair your Tracker' it seems to be asking for a 4 digit code? I can't find my original paperwork, any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Best AnswerIf you at that point the fitbit watch should have generated the 4 digit code. I had to reinstall like a new one and for some reason did not lose data. My 2nd one, I think they last about 2 years. I like the software.
