Just got my Charge 3. It appears I have the new dashboard and cannot find the + to set an alarm.  How do I do this?

Hi @Tulips223  you can't set alarms on the app now, but you will need to do it directly on the device.  please read how to set your alarms here - click to go there.

Still can’t find how to set alarm on my Fitbit after it updated on my charge 3

Best Answer

I have the latest updates on my iPhone, my Fitbit app and my Fitbit Charge 3.  When I try and follow the steps below I can't get beyond stage3 - there is no Silent Alarms item to tap.

Best Answer

on your fitbit you have to slide screen to left and alarms are on there now

Thanks, that seemed to work - I’ll know for sure tomorrow morning.

Please put the silent alarms back on app. I use this all the time and now it’s gone. You are promoting being able to have a silent wake up call, but that’s hard when it’s a pain to set.  I can set multiple alarms and do it frequently. Trying to do this on the  device is a pain. PLEASR PUT SILENT ALARMS BACK ON APP. thanks

We should say to setup alarm on Charge 3 by swiping from right to left right on the device until you find the Alarm. Then click on it to set up the hour, minutes...Hope that help

I totally agree!!  They are tone deaf!!!

This is just too bizarre. One of the the reasons I got it is for the alarm. All the clutter added to the app but you guys removed the alarm?  Oh, but you can set it from the device... swipe 3 times the up once sideways twice click, oh don’t wait more thsn 3 seconds or it tuns off. Did I get it set?  Hmm, lets try that again. Lol what junk. Nice job.

I agree. You take something that was working and change it for whatever reason to something that is harder and I am also not sure if it is working. So now I have to set my phone alarm as back up.  That makes no sense.

That's where the silent alarm settings was before I upgraded the software. I can only set silent alarm on the actual fit bit 3. So stupid! When is Fit bit sending an update to correct this issue??

Sure wish I knew. Probably never.

Ok so did this but step 3 takes me to the "General" list where silent alarm is not on the list did you have this issue or is it somewhere else

I wonder if fitbit reads these or cares. Their decision to take the wonderful alarms section off the app is horrible. I depended on silent alarms before with a weekly schedule and multiple daily alarms. I even  recommended Fitbits to friends based partly on this ability. Now I can’t even use the feature since it’s been so dumbed down and its so hard to use the little remaining functionality.
Seriously considering an Apple Watch based  mostly on this bad decision.

I love my Fitbit and it just seems like everything else in the world out there . Someone has to constantly change what isn’t broken. I’ll either figure out how to adjust or find something else which I really don’t want to do. It is what it is I guess. I just don’t understand changing what was working.

I think these changes are a result of constantly trying to improve the product. I'm OK with this in principle, but when it's done with inadequate supporting explanation, and out-of-date advice is left available when the change has been made, my patience wears a bit thin too.

I agree I’m all for making it better But if it isn’t broke don’t fix it. I just sometimes wonder where they come up with what to change. They obviously didn’t check with the people using the product it seems.

I'm having the same problem on my Charge 3 using an Android phone.  I have looked at a number of posts and replies, but none of them seem to be relevant.  I have selected my device and scrolled down to see various settings, but alarms is not listed.  I've spent more than 2 hours on this and it's rather frustrating.
