Is that for Apple or Android?

I’m having the same problem with my Versa 2 on iPhone. I get notifications saying open the app to sync, and then it has trouble syncing. I have to manually do it 3-4 times. Really annoying. I want mine to sync all day.

Hi I'm having the exact same issue with my versa 2 on Android (brand new watch and never worked) has anyone at Fitbit acknowledged this problem?

Bought a versa 3 yesterday. Not syncing automatically with my iPhone 8+. It’s annoying to manually do it

Since the option to have All Day Sync seems to have been removed and it is apparently defaulted to "always on" I would look at two possibilities:
1. Is there a similar setting within the watch itself (thinking more of the Versa and Ionic lines)
2. Is your Fitbit app allowed to run continuously in the background (thinking more of the Android users)
I am not sure how the iPhone handles background applications.

What a "Fitbit" way of fixing and changing things! First they say that to extend the battery life you should turn off the all day sync, and then they make it not switchable. A yet another brick in the wall between me and Fitbit when it comes to upgrading my Charge 2.

Same here Versa 3 not syncing with iPhone 11. Have to do it manually! I checked and it is set on iPhone to refresh in background. Just got the iPhone, ready to go to Apple Watch. I was excited because I thought maybe I’d start getting my texts more on my Fitbit since I have a better phone, no it’s worse!

I have a sense with an Iphone 12pro and i have to open the app, pull the screen down to trigger a sync now and wait 30-60 seconds for data to be updated. Every time
Automation is a logical feature to have in a smart app environment, downgrade to a manual sync is at least stupid.
I understand each 15 min was too often but should be done at least hourly with a gap during sleep times
