How to purchase a protection plan?

I just received my third replacement for my charge 3 under the one year warranty for screen issues. My one year warranty is up next month. I also just purchased my daughter and ace 2. After setting it up, through the the app I was offered a 2 year protection plan for 15.99. Since I have had multiple replacements on my charge 3 in the first year I wanted to see if I could also purchase this plan for the new charge 3 replacement I just received on Friday. Thank you.

They couldn't do anything except tell me to wait for it to pop up in my app again, which clearly doesn't help since I can't purchase it in the app for some unknown reason.   You'd think in 2022, a multi-billion dollar like Fitbit could figure out how to send a link to an email in order to purchase a protection plan, but I guess that is just asking too much.  

 

Since, that is too hard, why not just make it abundantly clear at the time of purchasing the product that you get one shot to buy the plan because it is a crap shoot regarding whether or not it will work in the app. 

 

I've been using Fitbit for nearly a decade and am terribly disappointed with this ridiculous nonsense and technological failure.  I will be looking for a new fitness tracker next time around.

@Shaleina  why not go directly to Allstate, which now seems to own SquareTrade.com and purchase it directly? It's the same thing. You can also buy it via Amazon or Costco.

I just got my versa 3 on Saturday afternoon. I got the offer the other day while I was away from home and unable to act on it, I figured I could just go back to it later. I really don't know if I have missed it again or not, but I would really like to buy it! I was just not able at the time I saw it. So, I really, really, hope it pops back up for me considering I have only had my watch for 5 days 😣  it seems like nothing is working out right lately though so 😬

Hi @Queen_Suggie  it should pop up three times OR you can go directly to Allstate, which now seems to own SquareTrade.com and purchase it directly. It's the same thing. You can also buy it via Amazon or Costco.

I have the same problem and fitbit on the phone gives misinformation! It hadn't shown up on my app in almost a month. SquareTrade will NOT sell the warranty. What can I do?

On Amazon you can buy protection plans, allstate does them and asurion. I bought the allstate one.

Supposed to be able to get in first 30 days.

My 40 days almost up. I was deciding if I liked better than the 5 or return and exchange for 5. I decided to keep this one but now not seeing the protection plan in ap.
