Hey there, @justyce! Welcome, welcome! Heart If you want to set the time using a computer, follow these instructions:

1. Select the gear icon at the upper right corner of your Dashboard.

2. Select settings.

3. Select personal Info.

4. Scroll down until you see timezone and select the correct one.

5. Select submit

Then you can sync your tracker to save the changes, and let me know if  you have more questions. 🙂

My boyfriend gave me his Charge HR recently, and I've been trying to get it set up. I've gotten everything else figured out, but it seems that no matter what I do, I can't get the time to sync correctly - it is four hours off. I've tried the following solutions:

* Ensuring that the time zone is correct in my profile: It is correct and still will not update to the right time after syncing. I've even tried to change it to other random time zones, and it still will not sync to those times either. I've been able to successfully change other settings using my Windows 10 Fitbit App, but the time will not budge.

* Ensuring that my Charge HR is running the correct firmware update: I tried this and I am running Firmware version 18.122, which is the version I am supposed to be running.

* Force-syncing the fitbit to my computer: I did this and it is still not working.

* Resetting my fitbit: I've done this at least three times and it is still not displaying the correct time.

Are there any other options that I can take? I was going to contact Fitbit support but I do not have a Twitter account.

@ZuzuFain, in the app change the Time Zone to a completely different zone than you are in, and sync the tracker.  Then set the Time Zone back to your correct time zone and sync the tracker again. That should force it to correct the time to your time zone.

@USAF-LarryThank you for your response. I tried to do as you described in your post, and it did not work. I suppose I should also mention that I am updating the time zone on the web browser, but re-syncing using my Windows 10 app. Do you think this might be the problem? I tried to find the fitbit icon in the hidden icons section of my desktop's taskbar (as per instructions I found in another thread), but the icon is not there. I couldn't find a way to re-sync the device using the website.

Hello, @ZuzuFain! Thanks for your participation. Man Wink To sync your tracker using a computer you need to have the Software installed on your PC, which makes the Fitbit logo appear on your desktop bar. From this website you can download the latest version of the Fitbit software.

You can try to change it from your computer and sync the information after, like our good friend, @USAF-Larry suggested.

@merled, thanks for your help beautiful. Heart

Hey, welcome aboard, @BrookeOlivia! To find this option you need to tap the little picture of your tracker and from there choose advance settings. What mobile device are you using?

Nice to see you around, @JudithS. Man Very Happy Have you tried the suggestion posted above

Keep us updated guys!

The first thing I wanted to do with this device was set the time. That is not even in the setup procedure. I had to search to find it. Frustrating. IMHO that procedure should be built in, automatic at setup, and much easier to trigger than a 7 step process that has to be searched for. Why not just have a button to do that? Just sayin'....

I am on my windows laptop and changed the time to the correct time and synced my Blade Fitbit.  The next day my Fitbit switched back to the old time zone and won't sync to the time on the computer.  I have looked into setting and can't find advanced setting to set it manually.  Please help.  Thanks,

where is the settings icon?

@ellamoore, on the Fitbit.com Dashboard the Settings Gear Icon is on the upper righthand corner of the screen.   In the Android app, you just tap on the Account icon in the upper righthand corner, and then either select the device to open the device settings, or scroll down to the Advanced Settings link.

Having followed all the steps and synced (as evidence an update of eg my resting heart rate), it reverts to the previously automatically set time.

This -2 hrs but the time on the Charge 2 is 10 hrs earlier than it should be.
