How to stop 'time to sleep; notifications on my Charge 2?

My charge 2 keeps waking me up at 12:30am and 1am every night telling me "it's time to go to bed". I'm already asleep, and it keeps doing this on a nightly basis! How do I make this stop? I can't find a way to do so at all, and I have to get up at 7am.

From the sleep tab of the app, go to the sleep settings page (cog at the top of the screen) and disable the reminders from there. That's the iOS method, anyway.

What about when you've unpaired and no longer have your fitness tracker -- which (presumably) prevents you from seeing or interacting with the sleep tab?

Best Answer

If it is not connected to a fitbit account, tyat means your not using tye tracker. So i dont understand the question.

If the tracker is still bothering you, it will need to be setup to a fitbit accoujt, before this setting can be changed.

Best Answer
It's not the tracker that's reminding me to go to bed; it's the Fitbit app. I keep it around because I still have the Aria scale.

Sorry if I repeat anyone's answers.

You need to click on the sleep button and then click 'edit goal' (the button on my computer and phone is a circle with a shaded circle inside it-like a camera lens). There you can edit your bedtime goals and turn the reminders off. You can also turn reminders off on your fitbit by holding down the button, but I think that stops all of your notifications (incl. hourly activity)

There's no sleep button. And no apparent way to add one. My assumption is that this only appears if you have a compatible tracker on your account, which I no longer do.

Any answer to this? i'm on the same boat..

had a fitbit charge hr, and the aria scale, i got rid of the charge but kept the scale, now i keep getting

reminders to goto sleep but i cant remove the reminder since the sleep tile doesnt show up anymore because i dont have the charge hr. I still have the app because i still have the aria scale

Best Answer

If you have removed the tracker and do not access the sleep tile my suggestion would be to reach out to fitbit. Link found inder help in the app or in the top right corner of this page.

Hello @SunsetRunner , @ArnoldMQ, @MikeF posted the answer Above this can be done through the Fitbit app by disabling the sleep reminder time.

Best Answer

I believe we know that but once you remove the device the sleep option is no longer on your dash so there is no way to disable anything.

@SunsetRunner you never mentioned that your device was removed, In that case I suggest what I suggested in the post above your last post, to contact Fitbit support. The other option would be to add a tracker to your account, even a borrowed tracker, remove the notification and return the tracker.

This also works for me on android.

I'm in slightly better shape, since it tells me to go to sleep hours before I go to bed, but the reminder is turned off and I want it that way. Unfortunately, it still reminds me.

I’m having the same problem, but I have notifications turned off for the bedtime reminders. I even turned off the sleep goal option thinking that would help. It’s been happening ever since I updated the app to the newest version a few days ago. The alert only shows up on my phone as a push notification.

Have you turned off your sleep schedule

Fitbit uses this as to remind of bedtime

Best Answer

I don’t have a sleep schedule set up on my app. As I said in my comment, I have the sleep goal and bedtime reminders turned off. This has only been happening since I did the update to the newest version of the app. Something tells me it might be a bug?

I’ve been having the same issue since the update and nothings turned on, it still is not fixed because it just happened again, it’s kinda frustrating cuz it’s happening at like 10pm and I’m never in bed before 2/3am
