The battery charged but I don't remember how to sync. Unplug from the charger or what. Help

If you have previously been through the setup process then it should sync when you open the fitbit app on your phone. You can also force a sync in the app by dragging down on the main Today screen.
If you've not yet been through the setup process then you need to do this first using this guide: Help article: How do I set up my tracker?
