Ok, so a family member recently lost her phone. While we were desperately searching for it, we did notice that in one particular location her Fitbit would give notifications for incoming calls. If I understand the device correctly, that means the phone has to be around there somewhere, right? Otherwise it wouldn’t be connecting to the tracker.

Am a understanding this right? Or just grasping at a straw?

Thsbks in advance.

You're right. The Fitbit can only stay in touch with the iPhone as long as it's within range - usually twenty to twenty-five feet. As long as the Fitbit can sync or receive notifications, it's within range. Hope you find the phone. Let us know what happens!
