My Charge 2 was working fine all weekend. When the reset occurred at midnight Saturday the steps began counting down from 99,999. However, when I synced to phone the steps recorded as normal. Allowed the unit to give low battery signal, charged last night but no steps have been recorded via the bit but when synced shows activity in steps! Is it time for a new bit? This one is about 1.5 years old.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. This is odd but I suggest you restart your device by following these instructions.
