My Charge 2 doesn't record heart-rate

My Charge 2 battery went totally flat recently, and now it does not record 'Heart Rate'. I have tried everything I can think of, to no avail.  Any suggestions?

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 2. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

 

If you haven't done so, please restart your Tracker by following these steps.

 

In addition, you can turn the heart-rate sensor off and back on. For instructions on how to navigate your Fitbit device, please visit this article.
