Need to setup the Charge 2 again

My Charge 2 wont turn on. The display shows a fitbit logo and www.fitbit.com/setup. When I try to resetup I'm told it's already setup and battery is fully charged.

Let me help you with your Charge 2 setup message. Please remove the tracker from your account by going to account (the top left button) then tap the device icon and the remove it by tapping the trashcan icon. After this retry the setup process

I tried this to set up my new Charge 2but even though my computer shows it's set up, the tracker doesn't work; i.e., when I press the button, all I get is the Fitbit loo and the www.fibit.com/setup crawl on the screen. What's up with this?

Hey @Sunshsine477 welcome aboard, let me help you out with your setup difficulties.

 

Let me share with you that your Charge 2 is displaying the message from your post because it's still not yet paired to your account. That said, I recommend you to check our help article: How do I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. If you experience difficulties with this process, you can check this help article and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified there as well.

Having the same issue!

Last week i received a replacement of my charge 2 device and received this afternoon June13, 2019. 

 

However, the device is on the www.fitbit.com /setup mode. i tried to sync it as a new device on my iphone but no luck. 

 

NOTE: there are no device connect to my fitbit account.

I called FitBit and spoke with a customer service rep. She helped me set up my device. The problem was that I had an older FitBit set up to sync with my computer. I had to get rid of this and set up my new FitBit via my phone. I don’t remember all the details of the set up. Hope a rep can help you.

@Sitaw09 If you’re replacing a Charge 2 device with another of the same model, you’ll be asked to confirm the replacement. For instructions on how to remove a Fitbit device from your account, see How do I remove a Fitbit device from my account?. Also, please follow the next steps:

 

Fitbit app:

 

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon 
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.


Fitbit Connect:

 

  1. Click the Fitbit Connect icon (User-added image) located near the date and time on your computer. Click Open Main Menu...
  2. Click Set Up A New Fitbit Device.
  3. Click Existing User and log in to your account.
  4. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions.
