Hi
I just tested the new Data export tool and the only result that I got is an empty Folder bearing my name.
The process seemed to go according to the guideline (confirmation mail, starting download mail, end of download mail...) but the downloaded file is empty.
Anyone had more success with this ?
Thanks

@GerLech It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that the export tool isn't working. Where are you trying to download the data from? This works from the website and I suggest you use either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. The data will be in JSON format and you can use an online viewer to see the data there. You can check the steps for this process here.
Let me know how it goes!

Hi Alvaro
Thanks for the answer.
I tried from the website, using Firefox.
The whole process seemed to be going just fine, only the resulting folder is empty at the end of the download, without any kind of error message.
I tried again today and it worked just fine:
a) I downloaded again the very same file than two days ago
b) I started a new data download process
Both gave a good result so I don't know what happened Thursday.
I will now be able to see if those infos are more useful than the old export.

Well, well, well...
The export works now fine but its result is absolutely useless if your are not an IT expert. You need to know IT languages, Javascript or PHP to be able to structure and read those data.
To me, that is unfortunately no better than the old export, for a different reason.
